Stem cell treatment for small fiber neuropathy
I have "ideopathic"small fiber neuropathy confirmed by punch biopsy. I believe it was caused by an unintended chronic exposure to high levels of carbon dioxide from an unvented gas construction heater.
I am considering, out of desperation because nothing else helps, stem cell treatment in Mexico. has anyone else tried this experiment?

@nancyjg I'm 40 boardeerline too old I think but its called trustem cell therapy, in Illinois they more then likely will try for you but the question is are you willing to pay out of pocket to try because the crooked FDA and insurance companies
@debbiehirsch yea cells that get frozen then thawed to use have a very low survival rate, plus embryo cells that are foreign from your bloodline or to distant of a relative you're body has a real high risk of rejecting them which results in not working at all and side effects, like graft vs host disease

My husband became wheelchair bound after taking Repatha to lower cholesterol. It was so efficient at ridding the body of cholesterol that it stripped the myelin sheaf off of a majority of his nerve endings, resulting in neuropathy (CIDP) in various parts of his body beginning with feet, then hands, shoulders, and knees. He was in his mid 70s. Stem cells from umbilical cord restored his mobility, and he has now been able to return to normal life at 79! Dr. Ghalili performed the stem cell therapy in LA. It took about 6 months for the results to fully develop.

Within 3-4 months of beginning Repatha, his feet became painful, which we attributed to old age and got shoes with orthotics. It didn’t help much, but the pain became eclipsed by swelling in his hands and not being able to pick up small items like eating utensils. We knew something was very wrong, stopped the Repatha, but no doctor could understand what was wrong. We read a report from Cedars Sinai and realized the drug was the problem. Dr. Ghalili in LA saw him at about the 8 month mark. By then his knees were the size of cantaloupes (and he is of average build). He received stem cells one time directly into both knees and 6 months later (they told us of the window of the stem cell therapy development) we saw the swelling and pain begin to leave him. So, results were not immediate, but were lasting!
