NET Stage 2 in Stomach
I was just diagnosed yesterday. Looking for information, and in particular from anyone with stomach NET. Mine is “well differentiated NET of stomach Grade 2. “ I will be having a wedge surgery after a 2nd endoscopy and an MRI.

Just wanted to give an update. I had my MRI on 7/15. I have not spoken with a doctor yet about results but the test results were published in “MyChart” (patient portal). It says no abnormal findings. Everything seems to be clear.

1 ReactionYes it is. I have to admit, I hesitated to even post it. I’m not wanting to rub my good news in anyone’s face. Just posted because I was asked to do so when results came in.

1 Reaction@tomrennie Hi I had a PetScan and MRI. They found polyp through endoscopy. Biopsy and it was a NET. WAITING now on what to do next. I have a regular Oncologist and will go to MDAnderson and see what they say!

5 Reactions@donnalb4 My simplified understanding of a wedge surgery is like cutting a triangular piece of pie out of a tissue to remove a tumor or lesion. If someone has a more professional sounding definition, please share. Is your appointment with MD Anderson a NET specialist?
