I have not heard of this symptom in Long COVID patients...most of us are actually more sensitive with increased pain, itching, pins and needles, extreme sensitivities to heat or cold, etc. I would sure find a good doc and get a workup...there are diseases that can damage nerves and cause sensory loss in the skin.
@vostie
Thank you would you have any recommendations tyvm
@zilowitz possible culprits could include nerve damage caused by severe vitamin deficiencies, diabetes, alcohol use or toxins, Hansens disease, MS, or a spinal cord injury/disorder. Few things cause complete and total lack of sensation in the skin.
@vostie i will be a little more specific its a total loss of sensation regarding sexual sensation . the whole body we wend for nerve and spinal testing seems like its the brain . very little data on this on line .seems very rare outcome of covid we would appreciate any leads . willing to do alternative etc. or explorative ty
OK - that is a completely different problem. Long Covid can cause "genital anesthesia". Could be due to nerve damage, changes to your hormones (like lowering your testosterone, estrogen and progesterone), or impaired blood flow.
Yes you are correct went to 2 professionals who tried hormone and blood work and and mind medicine and nothing worked also the vitamin b deficiency and addyi also didn't work tyvm
