I’m scheduled for knee replacement but read so many negatives ?
Im having full knee replacement very soon and researching I read so many negatives so for all of you who have had it, is it worth it ? I’m definitely concerned that I’ll be worse off by reading so many problems with pain, swelling and movement with knee replacements and maybe one should just put up with what we deal with now than adding pain and swelling into the mix.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I bought the RE3 Icepacks, straps onto your knee, opp is in 10 days and getting more stressed. I do hope it’s all worth it, I know I’m in for a rough ride from all the reviews.

I’ve had cortisone injections and worked for 4 days. It’s hard for physio to strengthen the knee as my leg from the knee to toe pulls considerably to the left, the osteoarthritis has deformed my knee so much and I can only get 50% at best movement. I really don’t have much of a choice nut to do this or stay like this forever, it does my head in with the pain and discomfort not forgetting lack of sleep

I know exactly how you feel

If there was another option I’d be doing it but this deformed knee with osteoarthritis has caused so much trouble and bone on bone is not good
@kudzu
Problem is when you have a deformed knee from osteoarthritis and can only get 45-50% bending I doubt there’s anything you can do but surgery
@steveinarizona
I have the RE3 ice packs
Have you heard of them ?
@mark3248
I read about 50% success rates, but the surgeons always say 98% success rate . . but reading reviews there are a lot and I mean a lot with negative reviews. I’m in pain a lot and it’s getting worse every year, so I have to take the chance and pray it all goes to plan

Yeah I think I’m in for a tough ride and it’s definitely going to clip my wings for the next few months . . I’m in hope I can deal with this.,
