Not exactly sure what I have Some say Neuropathy
I was told by an foot doctor that I had symptoms of Neuropathy. My basic systems are that my ankles swell up during the day and go down and normal when I get up in the morning. While sitting is the worse for the ankles and feet. While driving for long periods of time is the worse for my feet and ankles. I do have tingling in the toes and bottom of the feet all of the time. Walking and exercise seems to help with minimal pain. It is annoying mostly when my ankles swell during the day especially the right one. I have on occasion sharp pin like pain on occasion in the caves. Just wondering if anyone have similar problems. My daughter has a mild case of the tingling in the ankles and feet.
I have had my veins worked on thinking this could of been the problem but the annoying symptoms still remain. I am not diabetic and not over weight. I eat mostly veg and fruits with on occasion have protein of some sort.

MY left leg, hand swelling was healed after taking Ecosprin as there was a clot in the brain. Presently I am taking this tab. but at one stage the swelling has stopped in the hand. Restless nights. sleeplessness, Dreaming everyday, inactive r the problems I'm facing. These are all due to High Blood Pressure/ Once the blood flow to Brain is blocked all these problems arise. Each doctor says different stories and they doesn't match. I think all these problems r due to Brain shrinkage. Iam only 54 years old but my brain has shrinked as of 60 years old. Only sedative tablets during night makes me calm. Is there any connection between brain shrinkage & Neurological problem?
@sevey41 I wish I could give you the answer. Do you remember what medicines have been recommended for you, but you didn't want to take? I've taken a few that had concerning side effects, but I tried them to see if the benefit outweighed the bad potential side effects. For the most part, I've had none, or very few of the side effects. I know that the media have made some meds seem wonderful, and have demonized others. Between the media and politics, finding the truth can be a challenge.
I hope that one of these days you'll be able to wear some stylish shoes again.

@venki Is there a possibility that you could travel to a place where there are better doctors who know about your diseases?

@sevey41 I take a list of over the counter supplements that has helped stop the upward spread of numbness from my feet. When I started taking them last September my numbness was in both legs from the toes to just below my knees. By December of last year the numbness was just above my ankles. I'm 74 years young ☺. It hasn't changed since then. The numbness is still just above the ankles but I'm happy if that's my new normal because it means it's not spreading like my neurologist told me it would. I don't know if it will work for everyone but if I had a choice between taking supplements that are not going to harm me or taking drugs with multiple harmful side effects, I'm choosing the natural stuff. Like you I don't have diabetes or poor circulation. You can read my story here:
