If eGFR is reached to Level 20 now, How to Stop this *Progression right now* , and without Further Damages to the KIDNEYS ... iKhan ..

Progression can hopefully be greatly slowed by adhereing to a renal diet, managing water intake, and perhaps SGLT2 inhibitors. Jardiance, Dapagliflozin, and others aren't effective at improving eGFR when it is less than 45, but mine is 33 and I'm on them to relax my kidney tubules and lower my blood pressure (relaxed veins). My BP was 120/70 and is now about 105/72, so no high BP, but lower pressure is supposedly easier on kidneys. There are likely other meds that can help stabilize eGFR, but your nephrologist should assist you with those. A second opinion and clinical trials could also be options. My bloodwork is all fine other than elevated creatinine and kappa proteins, so I'm at stage 3a CKD even with an eGFR of 32 to 49.
