Prednisone can do wonders shor term for helping inflammation and open airways biggest problem I have seen is long term osteoporosis and lowering resistance I have had to be on it many times just had two copd exasperation in a row this time my oxygen oxygen level was still low after the steroids but I believe I have other things going on because a lot of other problems low BP after years of high worse breathing problems than ever before heart attack and multiple strokes last couple years now I'm tired all the time nauseous all the time oxygen and BP always a lot lower than the norm but Drs here do not seem to want to find a cause finally got them to schedule a colonoscopy but can not get me in until October pretty sure they are going to find cancer considering how fast my health went down and have it in my family oh sorry I turn 63 in a couple days I should not feel like death daily if you are like me and do not go around people much the main concern would be weakening of the bones sorry I carried on
