No pain at all with my two new hernia - (ventra and umbilical). However many years ago I did have a spangalion hernia and a small hernia did come from that that I never really got fixed. But I noticed with these new hernia they appeared after gallbladder removal. The real small hernia by my groin that I had for many years is now giving me pain??. I ordered a girdle from Amazon to bring in my stomach to apply pressure but there's no pain with the new hernia (It's just a lot of discomfort. There's a longated hard lump over my navel. I had my gallbladder removal on March 29th and I did have the hard lump but as time goes on now my stomach is completely swollen. Since the gallbladder removal in March, I developed esbl e. Coli which resulted in a UTI which is still very prominent in my system. So I don't know if the infection is making it worse. I go for urine test every couple weeks and that keeps on coming out differently with everything boils down to e coli but at least I'm not in another attack which I'm grateful for
If my new two hernias do give me any problems such as pain I will let you know. But right now it's just uncomfortable and and it's just creating pain in the one that I have near the groin that I had for a number of years . I look very pregnant. Completely swollen

@bonnie51k I had an ileostomy and developed a double hernia right next to it. It made wearing a pouch difficult. I had a reversal and hernia repair with mesh. No more problems! Nobody wants surgery. I get your reluctance but you can't stay as you are. Something is wrong! What has your doctor recommened?
