I am on Mounjaro and it’s been hard to tell that I am on it because of the prednisone. NP says they are fighting against each other. I have noticed the lower I get on prednisone, now at 6mg, I feel the effects of the Mounjaro more. Can’t wait to get off prednisone. I am so sore all of the time. I can’t stand it. I am an emotional roller coaster, I’m very sensitive to cold, my thermostat is crazy, hot and cold, hot and cold. Anyone taking methotrexate?

@gin3 I take prednisone, methotrexate and actemera. Just had my 2nd infusion and finally my CRP and sed rate has gone down. I’m tapering prednisone and my doctor hopes to get me off methotrexate also. So the actemera will be the only one I’m taking . I hope so. I’ve been on prednisone for 2 years and 5 months. Once I’m on infusions only my plan is to get on a Glp-1 because I have diabetes from the prednisone and gained a lot of weight.

I was on prednisone and could not get off do added methotrexate.. it was not a hood option for me…constant fatigue. Then added lucovorin to reduce taking so many pills if folic acid and that was worse. Intense fatigue and pain ! So stopped both. Am not on Rinvoc 15 mg and was able to taper prednisone to 3 … but had a flair! I am learning that this disease is truely a life long journey ! Patience is so required!
