I am experiencing profuse sweating off during the day and nightly. Is this common post Covid?

5 ReactionsI have this as well, plus my body temperature starts dropping with the sweat... down to 92.9° if I don't immediately stop. 5 years into post covid and still have the vibration 24/7, too.
I have now stared to really try and read my body more. When just walking in a store I can feel the start of the heat starting to generate inside me...I have to sit down immediately and rest in hopes of stopping it before it really gets a hold on me..sometimes I'm to late..I also get nauseated too..hope this makes a little sence.

1 Reaction@taunya6543 and any others coping with the sweats. I too blame this on. Covid and/or vaccines. It’s a daily occurrence. One reason why I hate hot summers. My hair is not only wet, it is dripping wet. Such a gross feeling. Thank God for showers. I’m glad I’m not the only one this happens to. Nice to know others share the same.

1 Reaction@frking same here. makes me crazy. not hormonal. I often feel somewhat faint and nauseated with it. no point putting on makeup anymore. Have had LC five years and this is new.
@dianecox This has been my experience as well. It started after my first Covid vaccine protocol in the winter of 2021. Even my shins get drenched in sweat.
The doctor ran a battery of tests. Zero results. We’ve tried HRT, levothyroxine, gabapentin, and clonidine patches (2mg?).
I also experienced difficulty breathing and CT scans (or MRI scans…always forget which) revealed I had “ground glass” effect, similar to Covid Virus side effect, in my lungs. Respiratory therapy and time helped with my breathing and stamina.
Nothing has helped.
@da69
Since I had Covid in Nov of '23, I have had hot flashes and am unable to adjust to temperatures indoors. I also have had an anxious, prickly feeling. I don't notice it when I'm outdoors. I take 2 tsp of Lyrica (pregabalin) and a 45 mg tablet of Veozah every day, prescribed by my neurologist and GP, respectively. These drugs have helped, but I still feel hot when I am seated, especially my back. I have had every kind of test available, all of which showed normal range results. Have you had any explanation from your doctors? I hope you will recover from this condition soon.
@mjm1947 Yeah.I have some mild sweating around my lower back.Feels like it's chilled.Covid did something to my internal body regulation at some level it would appear.I don't however get a fever(I've checked myself),though it kinda feels that way sometimes.Happens randomly here at home.Temp in here...74 degrees.So it's weird...but totally workable.Be patient with things.TIME is your friend;)I'm 73 this year.I'm gonna push through whatever I need to.Mentally,or physically...no compromise.I've GOT to be well...I have 3 responsibilities here.I can't let them down.
