How much Magnesium Gly. should we take with all the other vitamins and should it be taken at night?

@izziesue You are right, the Osteonaturals collagen is much cheaper. It's sold in a 90 day supply which comes out to about $20/month. By comparison, the AlgaeCal with an Amazon subscription costs me $46 for 30 days.

I found a different collagen product on Amazon today, Advanced Collagen Complex, which contains the three types that AlgaeCal has and costs about $36 for 30 days, with an Amazon subscription. I'll order that next time as I like having the additional collagen for skin, hair, and joints.

Thanks for the info.

I've recently purchased supplements from Amazon and then warned not to, due to possible improper storage, time sitting on shelf, or quality not as good as from the manufacturer. Anyone else heard this?

@daisy17 I use the Fortibone collagen from Osteonaturals , offered by Dr. Keith McCormick who wrote the book “Great Bones”. It is only the Collegen for your bones, doesn’t have the Collegen for your hair or skin like AlgaeCal does. That being said the scoop is smaller, but still the daily 5 grams of Fortibone recommended (and same as AlgaeCal ) , and it last so much longer than the container of AlgaeCal, which I had used previously before reading Dr. McCormicks book and finding his website. He doesn’t advertise like AlgaeCal does.

I noticed there are 3 or 4 Osteonatural collagens on Keith McCormick's website. They all say for bone. How did you know which one to choose?

@laren3 I've heard that but never had a problem. I just make sure I don't leave them outside in the heat or cold weather which could affect the quality. Some supplements I buy from Amazon, I wouldn't know where to buy elsewhere. Usually I try to buy them when Amazon is the seller, vs coming from another supplier.
