Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?
Has anyone taken Evenity? I understand it’s only been on the market for a little over a year. I’m hoping it will help with my severe osteoporosis. Any information is helpful.

I had a 31% gain in my lumbar spine after taking Evenity for 11 months. My T-score went from -2.2 to -1.5. I get my last shot this Friday. I also did about five months of Tymlos followed by generic Forteo before starting Evenity. I did have some side effects from Evenity: joint pain in my hips and knees and weight gain. It was worth it for the results for me. Everyone is different.

After you finish the Evenity, does your doctor want you to follow it up with Prolia? It seems so many on this forum have been prescribed Prolia. I wonder if that is necessary?
thank you

I am dealing with those exact symptoms and it has exacerbated my seasonal allergies 10 fold. Was in the hospital overnight, where they found a heart murmur that I never had before but the drs dismissed my connecting all this to Evenity
@pam52 Sorry, I missed your question back in April. I followed up with Reclast and had my first infusion yesterday. It went well.
I am on Evenity. I finish in November. No side effects. I will be curious to see if my scores improve. I am leaning towards Reclast or Forteo afterwards. Need to have a conversation with my doctor. New doctor as my current one left the practice....ugh
