CT scan found tiny pulmonary nodules

Posted by johndavis60 @johndavis60, Mar 16 3:15pm

Hi All, from last weeks CT scan, they found a few tiny nodules in my lungs. They are two small to biopsy and my MO said they are most likely benign and caused by inflammation. I did have a recent cold. But now after what I thought was a great report my anxiety has shot up again. Anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks so much for asking John šŸ’–
We finally got all that was needed to start treatment. Mr. Surf is on Orgovyx now and will start Nubeqa this Friday. In about 1.5 mos he will have RT to the whole area and hopefully with good result. šŸ€ We ordered testosterone test and uPSA (on our own in local lab) after 2 weeks of Orgovyx and his T is 18 (down from 746) and uPSA is 0.02 , so we relaxed somewhat knowing that cancer is suppressed. He is exercising every day and is doing great so far, no side effects (this is week 4), and hopefully he will tolerate Nubeqa well also.

For how long will you be on ADT ? I hope that you are also tolerating it well and that you are planning a new Disney cruise for this summer : ))

I don’t know if I’ll ever be off ADT. There was a suspicious spot on my pubic ramus bone way back in July 2025. They blasted it with radiation and they think they killed the cancer in that location but who knows what the future will bring.
Going to Disney in August and then Royal Caribbean cruise in June ā€˜27 to celebrate my son’s college graduation. I’m really glad you and Mr Surf are doing better. I hope things keep going in that direction:)

@johndavis60 Following up on my earlier post, my follow-up scan two months ago was also clear. The nodule was still there, yet smaller. Once you had cancer, they subject you to all kinds of anxiety inducing additional scans.

That’s very true. I’m anxious all the time.
I’m glad that your nodule is smaller. What do they think it is? Benign hopefully.
