CT scan found tiny pulmonary nodules
Hi All, from last weeks CT scan, they found a few tiny nodules in my lungs. They are two small to biopsy and my MO said they are most likely benign and caused by inflammation. I did have a recent cold. But now after what I thought was a great report my anxiety has shot up again. Anybody have any experience with this?

With such a low PSA score very doubtful that nodule is anything bad. Sounds like you're doing great.

3 ReactionsI had a Ct scan on my shoulder last week for an upcoming surgery. They found a small stable punctuate nodule in my upper right lung lobe. My doctors assured me it was nothing to worry about, that they are very common and usually found during a CT scan. I will be going back in 6 months to have it checked(to see if anything has changed) as a precautionary measure. I have had these before, and some even disappeared! Hope this helps. Best wishes🤞

4 ReactionsIβve had one on upper left lung. Later found it was cancerous. Had to go 5 treatments if SBRT. Everything good after a year. I have no side effects Iβm 77 I cut 2 of my kids yard and mine for exercise. Still climbing ladders to do repairs on my house. Walk 2 miles picking up trash, bicycle a couple of miles. No problems thank my God. Just letting you know donβt worry getting it early is the key and Iβm sure your doctor on top of it heβll let you know when he has to pull the trigger. Good luck God Bless

6 ReactionsHad another chest scan on 6/6 and today went to my MO appt. Lung nodules are not concerning and they also found some kind of nodule on my right adrenal gland which is also benign. MO says no scans until March 2027. Mixed feelings about waiting until March, but appointment went very well π

4 ReactionsYears prior to cancer diagnosis I did a chest CT called β heart smartβto check cardiac function. Well, they found lung nodules. Very common and benign. The biggest was seven millimeters. Went to church and was prayed over. Nurse called with next CT results. Tim, the biggest module has shrunk. I said that I knew why. She said tell me. I said I went to church and they prayed for me. She said I have heard of such things. Followed me for several years w CT each year. Released a year or more ago. Hope and praying this is your situation. ππ½

6 ReactionsAfter radical prostatectomy I was scheduled for pelvic radiation due to climbing PSA. CT scan revealed tiny lung nodules. Advised to wait a couple of months vs. biopsy not appropriate / being sketchy due to size of nodules. Was on ADT/Eligard & Nubeqa after above scan and nodules disappeared in two months. Thought was that nodules were caused by prostate cancer, spread to lungs, therefore no pelvic radiation - in other words, too late for radiation because already spread - ADT forevermore. Have had complete response to hormone treatments - PSMA Pet and bone scans all clear for now. My advice, ask MO about ADT, wait time, etc. before advancing to radiation , etc.,which may not be appropriate. Best to you!

Thanks Surfer! Yea the occasional good news is very appreciated. I know you and your husband have had some frustrations but Iβm hoping everything is going good. π
@johndavis60
Thanks so much for asking John π
We finally got all that was needed to start treatment. Mr. Surf is on Orgovyx now and will start Nubeqa this Friday. In about 1.5 mos he will have RT to the whole area and hopefully with good result. π We ordered testosterone test and uPSA (on our own in local lab) after 2 weeks of Orgovyx and his T is 18 (down from 746) and uPSA is 0.02 , so we relaxed somewhat knowing that cancer is suppressed. He is exercising every day and is doing great so far, no side effects (this is week 4), and hopefully he will tolerate Nubeqa well also.
For how long will you be on ADT ? I hope that you are also tolerating it well and that you are planning a new Disney cruise for this summer : ))

3 Reactions@johndavis60 Following up on my earlier post, my follow-up scan two months ago was also clear. The nodule was still there, yet smaller. Once you had cancer, they subject you to all kinds of anxiety inducing additional scans.
