@blm1007blm1007 That's a good idea Barbara. In my clinic, CT scans are done in a different facility, so the scans are never the same day as my PFT or doctor visit. My doc orders them well in advance since they are a "routine test", which of course get lower priority in scheduling than emergency or urgent tests. Her clinic business manager explained that under their contract with the hospital, less is charged when it is handled this way - I'm all for saving some $$$, for me or the insurance company, by going along with their plan.

@sueinmn I agree with the 'saving money'.
In the end it will affect us financially if costs aren't kept down....in the way of premiums and deductibles that .... they ......tell us needs to be raised due to costs.
