I am 75, have MAC, and take the three meds. What do I do to gain weight? I have no appetite and weigh 109-110 and am 5’5”. I am a skeleton and just can’t eat enough to gain. The fatigue and dizziness is not good. I am concerned about losing weight thru exercise but, know that I need it. What is the best diet for me please?

I have always been thin. I was a competitive runner and, even after stopping 26 years ago, my metabolism is still “running.” I am 90 pounds and 5’4” tall. I spent a year with a dietician and she suggested drinking 2-3 Boost VHC (very high calorie) cartons a day. Each carton is 530 calories. This can only be bought online. I buy from Amazon.

Over time, you will gain weight and feel better. I do not drink 2-3 cartons a day because I love regular food. I have to be aware that veggies and fruits do not have the kind of calories we are looking for so I will drink a carton or two of BOOST daily to make up for calories losses. The drinks are filling for me and because of that, I’m unable to enjoy regular food . (Mediterranean diet).

Many people have success with this drink. Good luck!!

I really wish I could answer this question for you. I've never lost weight with BE or MAC. I've been about 25 pounds overweight a good bit of my life (I'm 68 now) and I was diagnosed in 1995. It looks like some good suggestions were made. In addition, if your doctor can refer you to a registered dietician I'm sure you would get some sound advice.
I don't envy your situation and wish you all the best.
