I've had two TURBT 's

Back-to-back one each month, February and March.
And now it's May, and I'm still pissing razor blades. Yep still hurts..

Hang in there. Sometimes it takes pain to get to good health. However, I would encourage you to speak to your Urologist directly (if possible, not the NP) and ask if he/she could prescribe something to make you more comfortable. Explain each symptom I hope you will soon get a clean bill of health.

I had different problems with BC. thought I would share.
January BC discovered - severe incontinence after 2 Turbts-led to abnormal blood tests and very high BP in March and April- led to scan of my abdominal - led to stat ER admission- kidney was only functioning at 25 %- therefore I was in kidney failure -led to getting Bilateral Nephrostomy tubes inserted in my kidneys ( if I didn’t dr said possible kidney dialysis) tubes were inserted by Interventional Radiologist in cath lab - urine is now coming out from 2 small tubes in my back into 2 bags on my legs which I empty every 2-3 hrs. This all happened quickly 5/2 - 5/9 . Now I’m having surgical removal of bladder not robotic and getting a stoma and ileal pouch to wear. I’m just overwhelmed with it all.
Keep calling your urologist and get answers. You don’t see any blood but it could be microscopic.
Has anyone have Bladder removed with Nephrostomy tubes still inserted

Have you been checked for a UTI, this was always what happened to me.

I've had 3 TURBTs and I had pain peeing for about 5 months the first time and after the next couple of cystoscopies' I asked the Dr. to squirt in a bit more lube the next time and that helped a lot. I think the end of the urethra gets the most damage and seems to take the longest to heal. Just now I am having no discomfort and it's been 5 days shy of 2 months since the last TURBT. But then the scar tissue build up must be helping by now?

New problem developed with me…. Received my pre admission testing results over the weekend and I now have a UTI -Klebsiella Oxytoca. Has anyone ever have this? The sample was taken from one of my bilateral nephrostomy tubes. I googled this and it could be antibiotic resistant. I called urologist and now will be waiting for return call. I have a Pet Scan scheduled for Saturday-guess that will be canceled. I have yet received any cancer treatments since my bc diagnosis in January.
