How much is too much sugar in your diet?

Hi! You mention sugar can make your macular degeneration worse.

I do not have macular but several in my family do. I am curious.

You didn’t mention dry or wet, maybe it doesn’t matter. Is this what prompted you to decrease sugar intake? Do you notice sugar affecting you, now or when you did consume much of it?

I generally do quite a bit of research.
And I have read several articles that sugar is bad for AMD. And can cause harm.
And not good in general.
I have dry AMD in one eye & wet AMD in my other eye.
I have been getting injections for the wet AMD for a few years with steady improvement. But now the condition is worse.
I try to eat properly & exercise etc.
But I recently found that some exercises can increase intraocular pressure which can in turn cause harm to one’s retina.
