Or I my area of NC it is called functional medicine. The pellet lasts 12 weeks. However it is important to note my original Medicare and my supplemental do not cover the pellet. Here it is 300-400 dollars. interestingly my husband's testosterone pellet is 700.
The blood work is covered though. There are a number of YouTube presentations that discuss the pellet and show how it is inserted.
There are some great YouTube videos out there. Mine cost $300. The blood work is covered by insurance.
@nme1985 I have been on the BHRT (pellets for testosterone and estrodial) and oral pill for the progesterone) for 1 year and will be having a new Dexa next week. I am hoping to see some improvement in my osteoporosis. Even if I don't see any improvement there, my hip pain has gone away, I sleep better and my sex drive has returned. I just wish I had heard about it sooner.
