@georgescraftjr I loved that song when I was a young girl. Always related it to boyfriend/girlfriend issues. It certainly has taken on a different meaning now🙄

@georgescraftjr Once again, I'm smitten (and chuckling) over the "poetic" melody "It's my party and we'll cry if we want to, cry if I want to" That melody still lingers in my mind......As I sit here on my favorite site posting as part of my daily journal. You're so right, about the Calvary not coming, because it hasn't happened to them yet. Tried calling my son for support...that led to nowhere this morning. So, I'm back posting, and feeling less pain.... this week was a tough week with caregiving, the stress from "edward scissorhands" - aka my husband with MCI - messing up his phone and PC to the point I had to call the PC guy to take over. What a week, one "short" go-to drink last night, a Cape Codder with Kettle One, and this caregiver was knocked out! Not doing that again. For sure. Best, Karla
