Posted by holclucy @holclucy, 4 days ago

Hello, is there anybody here who can share their experience with cryo, cryoablation, neurocryoanalgesia, of the intercostobrachial nerve?
For 2 years i had after injury pain in my intercostobrachial nerve area and i decided to go for this mini invasice procedure.
Now i am day 7 after and the pain in the area is worse then before, much worse, like 8-9/10 and i am worried if the procedure failed, if it will stay like this. It is impossible to live with such pain. Did anymobdy have this procedure please and can share some comments.
Thank you very much,
Lucie

Is this a form of nerve block after surgery?

Hello, no it is a cryoablation of the nerve in order to stop the pain signals, was in pain for 2 years after the orlriginal, injury.

Lucie, increasing pain can last 7 to 10 days likely an inflammatory response from the insertion of the probe. The intensity of the pain is good reason for medical evaluation. Were you given any discharge instructions and warnings. You might call the clinic to see if there is a physician on call. If not you might go to emergency importantly if you are experiencing any shortness of breath, and to see if you can get something to calm those nerves.

Hello, i am already taking Pregabalin and i called to the clinic earlier, they said the pain is normal and to call my practise doctor, which i did, she prescribed Tramal. I am able to manage the pain by medication, but i do not want to take it for long, am so worried that the procedure missed the target or even caused new damage to the nerve, i am worried that this increased pain will stay.

Thank you very much for your reply. Do you have any personal experience with these procedure?

Best regards, Lucie
