significant pain of several kinds in my pelvis, pelvic floor, tailbone

Sorry this is long.......Although not directly related to the above issues, I would appreciate comments on the following:
I have significant pain of several kinds in my pelvis, pelvic floor, tailbone and sacrum, rectum and anus. Background -- In 2021 I experienced a colonoscopy accident in which my bowel was penetrated close to the rectum/sigmoid juncture. Emergency surgery removed approximately a 6" section of my bowel at this spot, which was then repaired with an anastomosis. This all seemed healed in the normal sense of healing (wounds closed and etc.) but since the moment of the colonoscopy penetration I have experienced foot and leg numbness, "woodenness", clumsiness, and pain of several types. I asked the surgeon about these but she had no response, so I accepted them (still could walk) as part of the process of healing. These have worsened, and are WORST when stool/gas is in rectum/anus area, but always present. Some kind of "dance" between rectum/bowel, and Sacrum.......
On May 3, 2026 I had an EMG which revealed that the nerves from S2/S3 are the probable source of my primary complaints -- pelvic and pelvic floor pain, rectum pain, groin and saddle pain, leg pain/ numbness/ woodenness, and increasing instability due to pain.
An MRI of my lumbar spine does reveal considerable damage, not surprising for my age (81 1/2) and active athletic life. However, according to the EMG the nerves issuing from the lumbar area seem to be in pretty good shape, especially considering age. (In general my primary care doc says I am physically younger than my age in most ways).
Prior to the EMG the surgeon I consulted recommended fusion and disc replacement with hardware and etc. L1 to S1. I want to avoid this if at all possible. Especially if my worst experience is not related to that area.
Other "dots" to consider and maybe connect -- Anal fissure, Anal stenosis, internal hemorrhoids, herpes from decades ago, osteoporosis, the extreme backbend required by the emergency surgery......
QUESTIONs: What might be my next steps to figure out what is going on in my pelvis related to the sacrum nerve damage in the area of S2/S3 and the inaction with my rectum/bowel? Anyone experienced this? Got any ideas?
