Skin problem that I cant find any ideas on

Posted by skinproblem @skinproblem, Oct 22, 2022

Hello all. Hoping anyone at all can help me. I have been getting pink/red spots all over different parts of my body for months now.

They come and they go though. Nothing consistent and not itchy or flakey or anything. They come for 30 seconds to 10 minutes and go away.

Also my skin overall has a more red tint then ever before that if I push on it leaves a nice white spot for a few seconds.
Anyone have any idea what this could be coming from?

That definitely looks like either nummular eczema or atopic eczema.
Moisturize the area with a fragrance free cream or ointment, especially after showering. Try to keep showers short and use lukewarm water instead of hot water, and stick with gentle, fragrance free soaps if you can.
Do your best not to scratch it, since that can make the inflammation worse. If it gets itchy, you can try some hydrocortisone cream to help calm it down.

This is how it looks today. Is it a mole? What if it's a mole?

That doesn’t look like a mole. It isn’t a mole. For reassurance, it also doesn’t look concerning or cancerous. It looks consistent with eczema.

It doesn't hurt or feel itchy or anything. But idk what caused it. Weird

While the spot may not be anything serious, it may be worth discussing with a provider to be sure if it worsens or does not go away.
