What really helps feet with neuropathy

It’s really frustrating not to know if a false AI response with a real Doctor is legitimate. Scary

Yes It is fustratating, pain full , my Dr. is treating me withe gabapentin 1200 mg daily, 600 mg morning and 800 mg night. I use an electric foot massager and also using apnea machine that also helps.

The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has a list of treatments including lifestyle changes, medications, alternative treatments and devices that might be helpful - https://www.foundationforpn.org/treatments/.

Have you tried any lifestyle or alternative treatments besides the foot massager?

I went to a chiro last week who has a 3 prong approach. Vibration board, red light therapy and foot bath w, tens unit for stimulation. All three therapies done at home daily. The catch is the cost of the equipment. He says people have success with this. I'm here doing research. My feet feel like I'm wearing sand shoes.

Anyone hear of anything like this???
I've seen all kinds of vibration boards
Haven't found a tens unit for a foot bath
What I understand from the red light therapy is that there isn't anything that is "affordable" that has the wattage to do any deep tissue work.

@cathylil
My feet feel the same! When I put on shoes I feel like there is sand in my shoes. I also have to wear socks 24 hr a day. Right now that’s the only thing that work for the
Numbing. Any ideas?
