CSID Diagnosis and how are you dealing with it?

Since childhood I have had intestinal issues, diagnosed as IBS. I suffered for years until recently discovered malabsorption of protein and zinc. Many foods are intolerable, ex: soy, milk, etc
Newly diagnosed with CSID. I'm at a loss. Please, chime in. Would appreciate all input as to how to live with this. Thanks

Hi @csherh, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! You have landed in a place that will be helpful navigating all things Congenital Sucrase-Isomaltase Deficiency (CSID). A new diagnosis is overwhelming and I imagine you are trying to figure out what to do first.
