...good to know, am seeing a new hearing aid specialist in town shortly and will ask abgout an amplifier: i tried hearing aids for a short time but have some hearing loss with hyperacusis... so didnt work for me, maybe an amplifier would! J.

@lacy2 Praying works for you too . I remember my friend in a nursing home lost her hearing aids cost
$6,000 back in about 2006 and the hearing specialist said try a headphone amplifier and my friend said it was $100 and worked better than the $6,000 hearing aides ... 😊🌻
