Yes, I have taken AlgaeCal supplements (Calcium, Magnesium, & Strontium) since January 2023. I also started their Collagen in Feb, 2025, drinking one scoop daily. Last October 2025 I had a DEXA scan and my doctor said, "I don't know what you are doing, but...there was improvement." I am 77 and have been on thyroid medication for a few decades. I went from Osteoporosis to Osteopenia in the lumbar spine T-score readings in 2025. My lumbar spine T score when from 3.4 (2023) to 1.5 (2025). My left 'neck' hip went from 2.5 in 2023 to 2.6 in 2025. However, I did have an L2 fracture on 11/5/23 - I was cleaning my chest freezer and pulled up a fully loaded wire basket of frozen food from the bottom while bending over - not a brilliant thing to do! So I learned my lesson on how to move safely after much PT. Then I fractured my L3 on the way to South Africa! Loved the trip, but...a second fracture is not fun! But I continue to take my supplements and collagen and not stand on a low vibration plate twice a day to improve my bone density. I've been told to take some of those medications to improve my bones, but...so many potential side effects that I am not willing to try it yet.
