So, no doubt now that BCR is there. I mean, we had no doubt at 0.05 but as always we were told that we are possibly over reacting _ I am so sick and tiered of that nonsense already !!! 😤😡

We immediately wrote to RO and to surgeon too and demanded the start of preparations for treatment NOW.

We asked for Orgovyx prescription and for PSMA ASAP. Now - wish us luck of achieving that goal *sigh .

Regardless of me being sure that BCR is brewing, seeing that PSA number today felt like sledge hammer hit me between my eyes (I wish it did !!!)

Awe Ucla 🥰 !!! Thanks so much for reaching out < 3 !!!
Yes - that is my husband's favorite sport - windsurfing and kite-surfing (to which he is new). We are unfortunately not that close to the coast so he did not have any chance this year to do it. Weather is also strange this year in the SF bay, lots of rain and pretty cold.

I KNEW IT !!! OMG - somebody just shoot me !

The first available slot is the June 8 th !!!! 😰

If his uPSA trend continues - my husband's PSA will be 0.56 on June 8th !!! 🤬 WTH !!!!!

I SPECIFICALLY ASKED last month for PSMA to be pre-ordered so that it is ready when my husband hits 0.2 !!! But NOOOOO - no need for that !!!

We called around and found one slot for May 21st in local hospital and we will do it there - my husband will be 0.24 on that day (according to AI) . So, may this be lesson to all - do uPSA testing every month if you have high risk cancer (gleason 9, high Decipher, cribriform, IDC,or positive margins etc.) and INSIST on having SRT starting at 0.25 the latest. Every point increment lowers chance of success by about 10%.

And do not have treatment where we are having it (too late to change now). "CC of excellence", yes my "cute behind".

Surf it hit me hard also but I like the original dx that anxiety faded pretty quickly. Not sure why butit was less of a shock.

@surftohealth88 Yes with the recurrence I felt the same time jam. When you are dealing with numbers like .1 and they want to see a trend confirmation, you can start bumping up to .2 and above really fast and the concerns on starting early really override the luxury of second opinions.
