Does anyone have Cancer with autoimmune diseases

Posted by taylor05 @taylor05, Apr 1 8:02am

I have lung cancer 4.5 cm along with another spot 2.4 cm in my pelvic area with Maybe limited Sleraderma, Secondary Sjögren's, Raynouds disease , small vessel disease with antiphospholipid syndrome as well. I've had several ischemic strokes and have lower BP always. I have a team now of Dr's, but changing to John Hopkins whete my Neurologist is because I know oncology is much better there and I'm complicated to treat. I'm probably 3rd to 4th stage of Cancer and probably won't make it.. They are finding out this week what kind I have.. I don’t even smoke! Anyone else having this issue?

I have scleroderma since 1999.
Diffuse kind.
On myfortic until I got bladder cancer last June 2025.
Stopped meds until cancer is over which who knows when,
Also having urethra pain from catheter.

I have RA and had lung cancer - adenocarcinoma. Incidental finding and staged at 1, so I was very lucky. Surgical cure after watching it for about 6 months prior to surgery. They made me stop all my RA meds during that time, but I got to resume them a year later. That was 14 years ago. Recently I had a small squamous skin cancer removed. Hang in there and keep fighting! Thinking of you.
