@leebg neuropathy is nerves missing their insulation . Low B12 over the years is cause.
An electric circuit makes sparks and smoke when insulation is missing. Nerves are the same. Take B12 in the form METHYLCOBALAMIN. But, sadly , alcohol stops it's absorbtion.
