@raelenewilma Which bone drug are you taking that has given you these side effects. If it's Reclast, I read "there have been lawsuits against Reclast primarily due to allegations of serious side effects, including atypical femur fractures and kidney damage. Patients have claimed that the drug's risks were not adequately communicated, leading to significant injuries and medical expenses."

Instead of Reclast, why not Fosamax instead? At least if you experience bad side effects, you can stop taking it. But then you need to know the half-life of Fosamax (alendronate) is approximately 10 years after it is absorbed into the bone. So the drug remains in the body for an extended period, continuing to affect bone metabolism.

Before taking any bisphosphonate, read studies that have shown it offers minimal benefits for fracture prevention. There are discussions about this in this support group under "fracture benefits of bisphosphoates".

@daisy17 I was on Forteo but my doctor wants to put me on Reclast because of the side effects. I was having with the forteo which was jaw pain, a lot of pain in my back legs and arms. I was getting severe headaches, but the jaw hurts the most so they want to put me on this other one, but this other one’s worse than the forteo so I’m at the point where I don’t wanna go on anything anymore she won’t give me any choices. She tells me it’s forteo ,Prolia or reclast. I think she’s getting kickbacks for it though.
