@raelenewilma Which bone drug are you taking that has given you these side effects. If it's Reclast, I read "there have been lawsuits against Reclast primarily due to allegations of serious side effects, including atypical femur fractures and kidney damage. Patients have claimed that the drug's risks were not adequately communicated, leading to significant injuries and medical expenses."
Instead of Reclast, why not Fosamax instead? At least if you experience bad side effects, you can stop taking it. But then you need to know the half-life of Fosamax (alendronate) is approximately 10 years after it is absorbed into the bone. So the drug remains in the body for an extended period, continuing to affect bone metabolism.
Before taking any bisphosphonate, read studies that have shown it offers minimal benefits for fracture prevention. There are discussions about this in this support group under "fracture benefits of bisphosphoates".
