Good for you. Alcohol was numbing the billions of intestine villi , stopping B12 absorbtion. Now that it's going in your nerves will gradually get their missing insulation renewed. Hurrah,someone else gone off alcohol. You have also stopped dementia coming.

@jamessaxo thanks! Some of the symptoms honestly felt like dementia i was really struggling i had no idea what was happening to me! Thank goodness i found out about the b12 deficiency and it's neurological symptoms! I'm 46 years old i was drinking as a way of self medicating more so 20 years ago when it was problematic for then undiagnosed ptsd. In recent years i had it undercontrol although I'd binge drink. Omeprazole was like a god send because i had esophagusitis. Anyway a long road ahead all i can do is wait.
