Has anyone taken more than 4.5mg of LDN?

@ellenblythe Yes, I would find a Dr who would prescribe LDN. It helped me tremendously with my fibromyalgia and insomnia. I went to a pain clinic for the prescription but have since learned that my PCP will also prescribe it. I am surprised your neurologist won't prescribe it, as there are many studies showing it's safe and effective.
Did he give you a reason why he won't prescribe it?

@daisy17 He is totally against all opioid- barbiturate type meds. My PCP does rx my Butalbutol and he only givrs that to 1 patient. Hes good about trying all the triptans- they just don’t work for my migraine pain. Ubrelvy (sp?) wkd for some time, now i’ve switched to Emgality. He also rxs my Nortriptyline and Topiramate for nerve- related pain. Anyway, I grilled him on it and I guess he had a patient OD on either LDN or something else, and he got burned. So, I sort of get it bit I have to get my Lisdex and 1 or 2 others from my Psyche, some from my PCP, I don’t teally want to go back to a pain dr just for 1 rx. After 35 years, I believe in trying every!
