Alcohol Consumption

About the embark on the "Big 3" journey, and I know it's a commitment. I most definitely intend to follow professional advice from my doctors but wondering what your doctors told you about drinking alcohol during this at-least 12-month period.

I purchased a countertop reverse osmosis machine today because the water in Venice Florida has a bleach taste after boiling and I couldn't tolerate the taste after the last three months. Now I can drink water without even thinking about it and if I need to boil this it should not taste like bleach. Even the small wins count.

@laureltn I probably have a drink or one glass of wine two or three times a month. Way down since beginning my Big 3. Dr didn’t think this would cause any issues. And get my blood work done each visit to her.

sorry for the delayed response. I was in no way trying to insinuate you were overindulging. Sorry if that came across that way. Garmin is like a very nagging voice that makes me try to do better. That's good, but I do still enjoy a glass of wine or something for sure and just ignore it telling me my body metrics are in the toilet. 🙂

I think most people can do fine in moderation while on the Big 3. My doctor just wanted to see if there were any problems with ASL/AST numbers while abstaining first. I never had any problems, though, with it and hopefully you won't either!
