What is the quality of life after colonic interposition surgery?
I am up for colonic interposition surgery and have concerns about the quality of life after. I would like to hear about the pros and cons of the quality of life after the surgery.
I am on tube feeding presently. I go on at 6:00 PM and am done by 8:30 the next morning, giving me about 10 hours off the feeding tube to do things. I have grown comfortable with the feeding tube and am wondering if the surgery is worth it.

I am going to assume you are an adult and the surgery is to replace a damaged esophagus. Will they take part or all of the colon?
