I am fighting MGUS progression to cancer with climbing m-spike starting .2 in 2012 now at .7 (IGM Lambda) and high IGM (over 500 with normal high range going to 250. I have started a moderately low carb diet, low calories (under 1,000 day) and taking 400 mg of ecgc plus drinking matcha tea, w/a focus on berries and high fighting cancer foods and high polyphenols (expensive rich EVOO, organic foods, cacao in coffee, etc.). I will check lab numbers in June.

@crunchywfwf yikes, that doesn’t sound like enough caloric intake to keep you going. Are you working with a dietician? I worry (It’s what I do) because you need your stamina intact to do battle with this disease should you need to.
Hugs.

@crunchywfwf I am on more of a Mediterranean diet, heavy on anti-inflammatory foods, with celiac I can't eat most processed foods, and especially avoid ultra-processed. I also take about 10 gm/day of bioavailable turmeric (1.5-2 gm curcuminoids) Bioavailable means with lipids (fats) and pepperine to increase GI absorption. Exercise is also very important for your immune system, stress relief, and staying strong in our fight against these nasty cells. I don't know if a fasting diet (1000 cal) is useful or harmful for looming cancer. It would be good to check with a dietician to make sure you are getting a balance of nutrition and calories.
