what are your symptoms from Osteoporosis ?

I would like to know what symptoms you have from osteoporosis , or osteopenia.
I see many posts about how you are being affected, and looking for answers.
The reason I ask is that I have had osteoporosis for at least 10 years, and don’t have any symptoms. The reason I know it is because my scan shows a problem.

The usual symptom attributed to Osteoporosis is a fracture.

In my experience the internet gave conflicting information so I got a referral
To a nutritionist who gave me two pages of low moderate and high purines since following that diet I have not had a flare

I have never heard of symptoms for osteoporosis nor have I had symptoms.

I did all of the PT, yoga, etc for 3 years and am now succumbing to to the meds.

@gigi4 ..had six vertebrae fractures from osteoporosis..I choose not to take those medications for osteoporosis and look what happened.....

I sorry to hear you have fractures. I also did not do the infusions. I’m trying through diet and specific supplements and weight bearing exercises to prevent fracturing. I wish you the best!

4 years ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I’m 65 yrs old. I’m taking alenadrate and took me out of osteoporosis the first 2 years. Also was weight lifting some. Took another dexa scan in my 4 th year and not weight lifting and now I’m back to osteoporosis. My primary doctor wants me to be in Evinity or Prolia. Has anyone been in Evinity or Prolia?. Not sure what to choose and also looking into after care when I’m done with these meds.
