This sounds like a question your physician or pulmonologist. We could come up with a dozen examples - like that dairy can cause mucus production - but this is best asked of your doctor. Good luck.

I heard a Dietician today say that dairy does not create mucus...it does line your throat and can give that feeling...which may be relieved by sipping water to thin the coating.

@hraka13 You should talk to your doctor. My mucus problems are affected by my sinuses. My doctor prescribed Ipatropium bromide nasal spray. I take the nasal spray in the am and pm. Everything time I use to get sick it always started in my sinuses. I also have alot of allergies that can also irritate my nose and take zertec and take Mullen. Hope you find a solution.
