Worsening of pain (arthritis)

I have pain in my left hand, at the base of my left thumb. I was managing it with Blue Emu per Dr Phil. It worked fine until now. I know arthritis is not curable but does anyone have any advice about things to try? I've seen the omega XL commercial. Does anyone out there have any experience with these pills or have heard anything about them?

@steveinarizona do you have family members with gout/inflammation? ask for another uric acid level test. If it is not at the center mark I'd follow up for gout. Try the Zazzee. its $10 and changes lives if it is gout. I was not out of range but asked to be put on the medicine (Allopurinol). OMG - was it life changing. no more achy hands and wrists!
