Anyone had success with Low-Dose Naltrexone for PEM, Chronic Fatigue?

I have Long Covid with Post Exertional Malaise / Chronic Fatigue. I just started Low-Dose Naltrexone last week. Has anyone found this helpful?

Sounds great. I can’t imagine Abilify causing such a great recovery of fatigue, so I’m assuming LDN. But then again who would have thought that Naltrexone in minute doses could affect our bodies in so many ways. What did your doctor say about the choice of Abilify?

Thank you for the message. I am at the Stanford ME/CFS/LC clinic and I think Abilify is their kind of standard second drug to try after LDN. It has now been more than 3 years so I dont remember that they said about it. I think Abilify helped me a lot but it is impossible to tell because pretty quickly I was taking both LDN and Abilify. Hope that helps. Best, Carlos

I've only been on it a few weeks and am at 3 mg. It is helping my gut tremendously.

If I keep up on my sleep hygiene, I think it is giving me a few hours of energy per day so far.

Those are huge improvements for me.
