Anyone using red light therapy for vasculitis

Posted by aronie2007 @aronie2007, Apr 5 1:54pm

I have been diagnosed with vasculitis after having an aneurysm on my ascending aorta and i haven’t started any meds yet . Anyone successful with anything without negative
Side effects?

I considered it but decided against it because I have dry macular degeneration and bright light is hard on my eyes. I would love to hear if others have tried it.

@bswpb Yes, i have- and wear sunglasses or put a washrag over my eyes.. RLT is terrific for those it helps, including me. Won't help everyone, but - I'm glad I did. I bought some for the house because going for therapy got expensive. Many to choose from.

That's wonderful. Be prepared. Bring sunglasses to protect your eyes.. unless it's focused lower..

@bswpb hi I’ve use RLT since November,3times a week for 12 minutes sessions including the vibershape pad on 4 . I haven’t used anything on my eyes because they say it’s good for your eyes. Do your due diligence so you keep yourself safe.
