Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?
Has anyone taken Evenity? I understand it’s only been on the market for a little over a year. I’m hoping it will help with my severe osteoporosis. Any information is helpful.

@laura1961 I’ve incorporated them into my daily diet, and I’m so glad I did.

I took the full 12 mo. Great gains and no noticeable side effects. What is your reluctance?

1 Reaction@sunny65 Hi! Did you ever get relief? I am in agony and am only 7 minths in.
@sue225
I did the Forteo injections daily. After one month of injections, I developed a rash. It started on my legs and gradually (over a period of three days) covered over most of my body and my face swelled up like a basketball!

If you don't mind my asking, did your bone density show increase after the Evenity? And what did you endocrinologist put you on after you completed your 12 months of injections? Is your bones density remaining stable?

1 Reaction@fossil I am still taking Prolia injections.
These drugs!
@gravity3
Read it can cause heart issues.
@sue225
My endocrinologist switched me to Prolia after the bad reaction to Forteo.
Two years of Prolia and I had a pathologic hip fracture. So now I sport a rod in my femur with three nifty nine inch nails. Trying Evenity now.
@trina24
Sorry you have heart issues. Be well
