I'm tagging fellow members like @pldgsph@newwaldenguy and @sidm to join this discussion. They may have experience with Brukinsa (zanubrutinib), targeted treatment to treat some blood cancers.
@usccrowley, you've been on Brukinsa for 2 years. How are you doing on the treatment? Is it working for you? What, if any, side effects do you have and how do you manage them?
Thanks for tagging Colleen. I have not bee very active on the site.
I have been on Brukinsa just over a year. 160 mg BID for WM. It is keeping me alive. My Hgb was 7.6 before starting, now I am over 14. All my labs have improved, a few still just outside the normal range still. But I feel great. Really no WM symptoms or side effects.

No joint issues. No side effects. I think dosage depends on diagnosis. Lab work in many cases is not prognostic to my understanding. Cannot compare labs with other people, just compare them to your earlier, per-treatment labs. The important thing is how you feel and whether you are able to live with quality. Best of luck!

@newwaldenguy Are you taking Brukinsa for CLL?
When did your hemoglobin and RBC started improving?
My husband is on it for CLL, his hemoglobin is 7.7 ? He started taking it end of this past January.

@glueski I’ve been on ZANUBRUTINIB (Brukinsa) for 9 years (clinical trial). No one in Hematology has ever told me to avoid alcohol. I’m a very moderate drinker (occasional glass of wine). Read whatever BeOne says in its materials.

3 ReactionsWhat is Hgb? You take 2 capsules daily? I take 3, would prefer 2. Any joint issues?
My HGB 11.9 after Brukinsa 2 years. Need to send beginning number. Are you in recession?
My IgM is 900 & IgG is 400 labs not in healthy range but change when I get Octogam infusions.
