@dinahj I am so glad to read that Camzyos is working well for you, and I hope it continues to do so. We are all different and the Camzyos patients each have their own unique story. You have an open mind about the noted side effects (if 1 person in the trials had a certain side effect, it's listed), and the possibility that it will cease to work after a time (my cardiologist has said that is noted in the literature). The surgery is called a septal myectomy, I was 3 weeks from my 76th birthday when I had mine at Mayo - so glad I did. You have a full plate with all of your other concerns. Nevertheless, I hope that Camzyos works well for you permanently!
