Looking for cases of people using a second anabolic after the first
I'm particularly interested in the Forteo, then Evenity sequence. I'm still in severe osteoporosis after 17 months of Forteo. Hardly any point in taking Reclast to lock in gains that were minimal. My old rheum said she had never done the Forteo-Evenity sequence and acted like she had never even heard of it. I have a new rheum now who I will be discussing this with. In the meantime looking for others who also were or are in the situation of not enough gains from first anabolic and what they did next and why. Thanks in advance.

@mdm30 I'm very sorry to hear that you have had little improvement over the course of taking these medications.
Has your doctor investigated you for idiopathic hypercalciuria? You would have taken a 24-hour urine collection if this has been investigated.
The reason I ask is that I have very few contributing factors for osteoporosis in my lifestyle and have been on HRT since peri-menopause. My diet is optimal, I do resistance training, don't smoke or drink alcohol, am not underweight, and all blood work has been good.
However, my 24-hour urine calcium is very high (3 x normal). This is something I only discovered when my endocrinologist ordered the test nine months ago. Hypercalciuria can be genetic and can cause osteoporosis. I had no idea and have been treated for 12 years for this disease with no one ever bothering to check.
I am now on a daily diuretic to help lower my calcium loss from my kidneys.
Hope this might help.

5 ReactionsBarb3 with Medicare you can file a Covervage Exemption Request. Your doctor would have to fill out details of your "allergic" reaction. But that should yield an automatic approval for Foreto.
I hope you can share your discussion of your conversation with your biotech husband. I'd like to know if source of the dna leaves a residual or fundamental difference in the dna extraction. Because
The listed ingredients of Terrosa, Bonsity and Forteo are exactly the same.
With teriparatide intestinal issues are not common. I haven't heard of shaky hands, but that could be from the low blood pressure in the hours of hypercalcemia after injection. Headaches are common in the first four hours after injection.
Have you tried ingesting caffeine and salt with the injection.
If the end of the day headaches are occur more than four hours after the injecction, you may be experiencing hypercalcemia. I'm glad you are checking. Be sure and have the testing before the injection.
Some people report that the side effects fade after a few months. I hope proves true for you soon.

2 Reactions@mdm30 Did you go directly from Tymlos to Evenity? No waiting period of antiresorporitve in between?
