5 long years with long covid

I have felt like nobody understood the hardship of living with LONG COVID. Noone in my small circle of life has experienced Covid like me. I see I am not alone now as I read the passages here.
After regaining my sense of smell and taste back after almost 2 years, they came back distorted. It still isn't the same and occasionally they vanish again. I have had excessive mucous and post nasal drip for nearly 5 years. I'm so tired. Just so tired. Are there any suggestions for my nose? If not already, someone needs to invent a wearable tissue holder like a fanny-pack.

Ditto to your symptoms. I have hypersensitivity to everything along with Post Covid since mid 2022. Even with diet restricted to non-inflammatory foods, drinking Pau d'Arco Tea, improving air quality I require decongestants and antihistamines regularly with nasal spray. Drinking warm tea to assist LYMPH system to drain helps ... Lemon Echinacea, Mint, Ginger and Chamomile in that order throughout each day.
Treat it like a FLU that won't go away, a sleep over that wont end, lol. And any issuesduring and/orprior to Covid may resurface and are exemplified. It preys on our weaknesses. Maybe try lung/breathing exercises.

Loved your wearable tissue "like a fanny pak". I, too have had Long Covid since spring 2023. No sense of smell or taste. I can feel texture of food but no taste, and I don't have a sense of smell, which can be dangerous if one can't smell the odorant in natural gas, etc.
