Anyone had renal cell carcinoma adhered or intruded the diaphragm?

Posted by gigikocmankokemoor1 @gigikocmankokemoor1, Mar 3 10:08pm

I have RCC that was stable after microwaved libation in 2014 but in July 2025 after a CT scan the tumor on right kidney had grown again bigger then before and is either stuck or intruded in to my diaphragm, has anyone else had this happen?

@gigikocmankokemoor1, I'm sorry to hear that after 10 years, the tumor has grown. Have you had further testing done to get more information about the involvement of the diaphragm? What treatment is being suggested for you? How are you doing emotionally with all this?

@gigikocmankokemoor1, many cancer centers have assistance programs. For example, here is information from Mayo Clinic:
- Charitable Care and Financial Assistance at Mayo Clinic https://www.mayoclinic.org/billing-insurance/financial-assistance

I hope that you have a similar program at the hospital or cancer center near you. I also want to let you know about a service called FindHelp.

FindHelp https://www.findhelp.org/ is a resource directory that helps people find and connect to social services in their area. Services include food pantries, legal services, housing, financial assistance, health care, and more. Just enter your Zip code.

If your US citizen you can apply for affordable health insurance under affordable care act depending on your income. Seek assistance with local DHS where you reside. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
