I was placed on propranolol many years ago and it produced horrible mental side effects. All I remember is being on the phone with the doctor who prescribed it describing the mental and visual effects it was creating. It took a couple of days to get it out of my system - very long days. Be sure to read about all possible side effects as you consider your doctor's recommendation.
