Tinnitus- Without hearing loss

I practiced general dentistry for 44 years. Three years after I retired in 2019, I developed a ringing in my ears. I visited an audiologist who told me my hearing was very good but couldn't offer me any remedy for the tinnitus.

I, then, visited two ENTs, who told me after 10 minute visits, that I needed a hearing aid. They weren't paying attention to me, evidently.
